DENIAL OF REQUESTED VARIANCE FOR PARKING AT MEDICAL BUILDING
The professional Medical Building located on the Southeast side of the community is requesting a variance to add additional parking spaces and to install a gate opening to allow emergency vehicles to be able to access the Harbour Lakes community. The location of the proposed parking spaces and gate will be located along the dog walk, which is located on 29 street in Harbour Lakes. This would require removal of the current landscaping and clear visibility into the community from the patrons of the neighboring commercial buildings.
The proposed plans will require that the buffer of landscaping that is currently existing to be reduced to 4 feet. The City requires a 20' wide perimeter buffer which includes landscape, which is what is currently existing.
The Association is taking signatures from everyone affected because the proposed plans poses safety concerns as well as concerns that the proposed parking spots will decrease property values.
It is very important all residents and owners sign this petition today to deny this variance that poses safety and privacy issues to the residents and owners living in the Harbour Lakes at Monarch Lakes Townhomes.
