Housing should of been the first thing built on the Redfern project as for the countless hours of community work for so many from all over Australia have found their resources there to find a better life for themselves . The people and communities there on that peice of Country are and have been a source of inspiration to so many and its disgraceful that their needs where not looked after first . They work in the area and hold a wider community together stop talking and DO it Now . This area is the HEART AND LIFE BLOOD OF OUR NATION AND DESERVES FULL RECOGNITION AND RESPECT .

I don’t believe in the gentrification that is happening in the Redfern area. Particularly the effect it is having in the indigenous community.

Redfern is a ATSI Cultural Landmark and has a continuous connection with the traditional people's who still exist there through to the ongoing consistent connection with the many ASTI Nations People's who came in and made it there home. That legacy must be allowed to exist for our ongiing cultural, spiritual & emotional health.
