My son, Bradley Wayne Pellegrini died on Christmas morning 2017 from an opioid overdose after taking a dose of Morphine to eliminate pain he was suffering.  Opioids account for the majority of drug-related deaths and in most cases such deaths are avoidable.  North America continues to experience the highest drug-related mortality rate in the world, accounting for 1-in-4 drug-related deaths globally.  In 2016 there were 89 deaths per day, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse in March of 2018 that number has jumped to more than 115 people in just the United States who die from opioids each day.  It is to late to save my son, but we must save the sons and daughters that are growing up now.  We have to educate our children, just say no doesn't work, we need real action.  Melania please help us stop this epidemic before it reaches Barron.  Turn the White House Purple and support education for National Overdose Awareness day.
