Bring back the original closer

Bring back the original closer
We the OHS band want our original closer back. I feel that since we have cut it short by a lot, the judges at Tupelo contest might say that it's too short and lame.
Letter T shouldn't have been cut out, because A. it sounds pretty in the drill file, and B. it's not even a hard section in the first place. I know the woodwinds are capable of playing the part. We have some really good clarinets (lydia, jazmin, brooklyn, swayzie, yamato) and some really good flutes (mina, sparkle, alenys, tacie) and saxes (khloe, gilad, aaliyah, aranxa, amya, meghan, grant, gavin, etc.) that can play the part fine (cus I mean, it's an easy section so I don't see how we can't play it). Also, why give letter U to just the percussion now? Like there's literally a whole percussion movement in between the ballad and the closer. The judges would probably get bored of hearing the percussion, since we just came from the percussion movement. And like hello!?! Everyone already knows that some of the percussion (mario) are really good, we don't need to be reminded again. The part of that section before the brass run part wasn't hard, it was literally just the same as the brass feature in the opener but in a different key. We have many trumpets capable of playing the run part, like Landon, Aldrin, Walker, Bella, Savannah, Nathaniel, Rob, Stuart. What we should've done for the brass run part is just let the people that can play it play it and those that can't don't play it, which is the logical thing to do. No scratch that, just make the brass run part a solo and give it to Landon or Aldrin or Rob or someone. Or if that doesn't work, just give the part to Mario and Cassidy on Marimba, since they are also capable of doing the part too. The rest of the show sounds fine until we get to the closer. Until the end of letter S, it sounds good, but once we play the updated parts, it sounds too....easy, I guess (couldn't come up with a better word). I feel like if everyone would just spend some time on the original closer, we would eventually get it right and it would sound better. Also, the judges might say better things about the skill level of our band if we played the original closer. Think about it, just imagine the judges saying "Oh wow...it's....well...kinda short and maybe a little too easy..." vs. if we played the original part: "I'm loving this movement, you've got some strong players in your band and I'm loving that trumpet solo". I encourage you as members of the OHS band to sign this petition in the hopes that we can get our old closer back.
