Meijer, Midget is not a word to denote size of pickles

Here we go again....fighting against the inappropriate usage of the word "midget" by yet another food industry manufacturer to label size of a product. This time, its Meijer's pickles. This is not the first time a mother (like me!) has implored a pickle manufacturer to change their label. In 2013, Cain's pickles changed their label after a mom and advocate reached out to them, which signified a huge win for the Little People community.
Many of you fought the battle with me last year in convincing Norpak to change the label on their waxed paper boxes. We won that....WE CAN DO IT AGAIN!!!
Its 2021. Its time that companies realize that this word was never created to denote size. It was created as a way to mock people. It is a slur and a derogatory term. Its time for change!!
Please sign and share. My child should never be reduced to a word, and made to feel inadequate about herself based on poor product labeling. Just imagine it being your child, and I am sure you will feel the same <3
