Hi i am a student at medina struggling with the dress code along with many others. Dress code has no reason, its not like were coming in nude. It makes me feel uncomfortable that my clothes are targeted as inappropriate for having minor rips. Some students are in different situations everyday some may have to wear old clothing thats considered "not professional" ... whats important about being professional as a middle-highschooler? This doesnt only go for girls but guys too. We come to school to learn, not to be judged on what we feel comfortable in. And like medina and many other districts they target what may "distract" one another which is ridiculous. I can go on and on how other individual students are effected by dress code everyday. But im gonna let them share their stories on our insta @mvisddresscode , if youre a student that wants to reach out , message us and well share it anonymously! Well try to help with the abilities we have by spreading the word! ❤️ ABOLISH THE RIDICULOUS DRESS CODE!!! ��
