Dear class, 

I have made this petition on behalf of dilan, to get your approval that you would not have a problem with him returning to our class of 5th semester 3rd year.

As you may know by now of the very tragic passing of dilans girlfriend Eliza, who was also a student in our class since first year. Dilan went through a very sad period and along with the global pandemic it made circumstances that more difficult. As you can imagine their were restrictions at the funeral, his family couldnt come over here and it made everything that bit harder for him. Dilan at the time made a decision that he thought he would be unable to continue with his studies in our class and asked for a break until next semester. However, dilan has gone back home to his family and elizas family and come to the conclusion that he wants to return now and continue in our class as normal. Dilan at the time of the first decision was not in the right mindframe to make such a drastic decision in his life. He has now talked to his psychiatrist and worked on his mental health, and this decision he knows is the correct one. He is so determined to come back to our class as all of his friends and support system is in this class. Dilan has been apart of this class since first year with eliza, and he would wish to continue in this class with all of his friends in poland being in this class. I think we can all agree missing a couple of weeks of biochemistry labs shouldnt be holding him back from coming back (he can also do the biochemistry lab test he missed with the repeats at the end). He has been present for exams that we have had online and passed the biophyscics final even after been told he wasnt allowed back into the class by the dean. This is why i am making this poll to show the dean that the class is backing dilan to be allowed into the class again. So if you agree, i ask you kindly to sign the petition and i will help dilan get back into the class. We are also asking all the professors and Dr's to give their approval. I believe if we all sign this we can show the dean that we have no problem with him returning. Dilan has pledged to do all the catching up in biochemistry in his own time, and he is planning to continue doing the online tests and attending lectures until the lockdown finishes to prove that he is capable of continuing his studies in the class of 5th semester 3rd year.
