As a loss mom, i.e. a mother who has gone through miscarriage and stillbirth, seeing the words spontaneous abortion and  trimester abortion with retention of dead fetus so soon after losing a child is like another stab to the heart. I am proposing a change to the medical community to better help the mothers going through this. I propose we change the term across the board to Loss of pregnancy. Or Loss of child. We have lost enough, we don't need to feel the pain a second time when seeing our records as well.
