Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners: Ammend Leash Law to include e-collars as an approved device for dogs

Allowing people who spend time and energy training their dogs to enjoy them more freely will promote better dog ownership as well as make Charlotte into a truly dog-friendly city.

Current county leash laws accept electronic containment systems (ie Invisible fence) as an acceptable containment solution for dogs. We want this acceptance to expand to hand held electronic collars when people are with their dogs.
