Although Mechanist earns an average of 3M US monthly, and has a download rate of 300K per month, they continue to take their client base for granted.  Currently, they are creating not only a power vacuum in their game, Game of Sultans, they are filling this vacuum with the hard earned money of their clients without any thought of the play-ability of their game, or the continued enjoyment of their players.  This is evidenced by many factors.  1) a multitude of dying servers with players who have spent years, and in some cases thousands of dollars creating their accounts.  These players are forced to move to new servers and start completely over, losing all of their hard work, and money in the process.  As of this writing, players are not allowed to keep anything they have earned if they choose to move to a server that actually has live players. These servers become dead for a multitude of reasons outside of the control of the players.  Toxic players who have created an environment that is not inclusive and removes all enjoyment of the game due to harassment.  Players lose interest in the game and leave servers leaving them barren.  Players creating accounts who only play once and never come back leaving behind abandoned accounts.  None of these issues have ever been adequately addressed by Mechanist. Mechanist needs to take the initiative to a.)  ensure their servers are inclusive and harassment does not occur. b.)  create a means of merging dead and dying servers with more active servers to ensure that clients do not lose their hard work and the money they have spent building their accounts.  c.)   purge older accounts so that servers have an accurate and sustainable number of players to ensure server health.   2) The blatant and unending desire of Mechanist to pump its players for more and more money.  Admittedly, most games have a 'alternative' means of making money.  DLC comes to mind.  But, Mechanist has taken this to new heights, or lows depending on your point of view.  Their two biggest events, Coalition War and War of Supremacy have become synonymous with buying a win.  This has always been known and accepted by the community.  Recently however, in what can only been seen as an attempt to bolster their bottom line, Mechanist has gone from having Coalition War once per month, to every 10-ish days.  This can only been seen as an attempt to coop more money from its clients.  In addition, Mechanist has also begun offering in game purchases of hard to get characters for about $100.  New events, such as  Brawl and Imperial Road have been introduced to also bolster the bottom line of the company. All of this creates an imbalance not only for free to play players, but new players to the game as well. a.)  Coalition War should go back to being only once per month and not during the week when most players are absent leaving other players to burden their absence during the event.  b.)  Coalition War should not immediately follow Union War.  This puts an unnecessary burden on players and only servers to ensure clients spend more money on the game.  c.)   Hard to earned characters should not be available through purchase.  This puts an undue burden on Free to Play players who have earned the character and creates a further power imbalance within the game that then adds to the abandonment of servers.  d.)  Players should not be forced to buy slots to add players to their teams for Imperial Road.  The also creates a power vacuum and puts free players at a distinct disadvantage.  3) Despite the amount of money players spend playing this game, customer service has proven to be almost useless.  Except in the instance of 'scammers' creating accounts to defraud legitimate players, I have personally heard of no instances that customer service was either useful or timely in my 2 years of game play.  Despite glitches in the game where items hard earned by players were lost, no recourse was ever given.  In fact, a lot of the 'service' given players is typically copy and pasted responses that do not remedy the problems or concerns of clients.  a.)  Customer service should serve the client.  Questions should be honestly answered in a timely manner, and concerns addressed.  b.)  Customer Service should be adequately trained to offer proactive responses and not copy and paste answers that do not adequately address client's issues, and in some cases don't even have anything to do with the issue at hand.   4) The acquisition of some in game currency becomes obsolete within the game.  With the exception of "Gold Rush" gold earned in game has almost no use.  This currency could be used to lessen the burden of the clients when playing events.  Alternative uses of in-game gold currency should be  available to players.  The currency could be used to a.)  buy viser suits b.)  attend feasts  c.)  be used in union store.  d.)  be more widely used in events.  The options here are literally endless.
