1. This change isn’t about me or anyone else. It’s about putting a stop to animal cruelty for fish being won as prizes at fairs/carnivals. 
   they are given to RANDOM people who most likely have no research or experience with fish. 
   
   

I care because I do know the repercussions and if you don’t let me tell you, the vast majority of people who take that fish home (IF THEY TAKE IT HOME!) after carrying it round in a plastic bag for hours, likely, don’t have a cycled tank at home and will end up putting that fish in the cheapest tank they can afford not knowing how to care for that fish and not realise the size that fish WILL & NEED to get too. 

the rumour fish only grow to the size of the tank is true however when it reaches the max size of that tank it will start to die if the tank is too small. 

All fish have certain requirements that you need to follow to prevent early death and complications like any other animal in this world.

I understand there are people who do know what they’re doing and will have a big enough tank already cycled at home but I’m talking the vast majority here. 

I think it’s INSANE this is legal, it’s cruel and needs stopped immediately.
