Our school is trying to take away yet another much loved organization. This school just loves to take from us. The emeralds dance team has been a prized gem for our school for many many years. It would be so sad and so wrong to see it go. I’m not sure why they’re even trying to take it away when it really doesn’t mess with school money a whole lot. Let’s try and get it back Rockport won’t be the same without it. Every dancer, and future dancer will never be allowed to dance for their school. All of those opportunities were just ripped from beneath them. They had no idea that Navarro would be their last game ever. The band kids football experience won’t be the same because they go hand in hand. I’m devestated and disappointed in our school and I could only imagine how those girls and their parents feel.
