when i was eight i got my first ever cat, her name was lilly and she was the only animal i truly ever got to bond with, and over the years we just became closer and closer, pretty soon she became my everything. just last November she had to be put down because her kidneys were failing, this was the last thing i wanted to hear, as we all know how rough 2020 was.

to give you a bit of a backstory, i live with only my mom, and things do get lonely every now and then as you can imagine. lilly was my comfort animal & was there for me through everything. i will never forget being told that putting lilly down was our only option, and it happened all in one day, all at once. 

ever since quarantine, things have been really hard and i think we could all agree. lilly was there to help me through the anxiety and loneliness that 2020 brought, and losing her resulted in those feelings intensifying. she was my bestfriend & my emotional support, i miss her with all of me but this time i’ve spent without a cat has been absolutely terrible and i’m convinced life is just that much easier with the support of a little furry friend.

my mom said that if i get 1,000 signs that she’ll consider getting me a new cat !!! this would make me so so happy, and i’d finally have a new comfort animal & bestfriend :)
