Good morning Michigan innocent project and Attorney General Miss Dana Nessel my name is Zonnya Rhymes ...I was hoping you would be able to assist me and my family, I have a loved one Joseph E Freeman that's incarcerated inmate number#(261244) convicted of a crime he did not commit he's innocent he was convicted of a brutal beating of several prison guards which he had a issue with one of them a couple months earlier where this particular guard threw his weight around and mistreated inmates on a regular basis and my love one Joseph Freeman Express to him that he wasn't going to stand for it any longer and started to write reports and have the guard written up this particular guard didn't like that and  started to pick with Joseph Freeman more often than usual finding any little thing to put him in the hole for long periods of time and every time mr. Freeman would go in front of the board to dispute the ticket that was presented against him from this specific guard mr. Freeman would win and the guard would get mad that it was hard to get him put in the hole so this particular guard waited for mr. Freeman to leave his cell went in his cell didn't anticipate that his roommate was still in there and threaten mr. Freeman room mate telling him to say that he seen mr. Freeman with a knife as the guard was hiding a knife in mr. Freeman's property when mr. Freeman comes back in his room they instantly did a Shakedown and found the knife that did not belong to mr. Freeman mr. Freeman sat in the hole for a few weeks waiting to go in front of the board to confessed his innocence mr. Freeman had no idea where the knife came from mr. Freeman had no knowledge that the guard had came in his room and planted the knife so the guard told the board to ask his roommate have he ever seen mr. Freeman with a knife mr. Freeman roommate told the complete truth that the guard threaten him to say that he seen mr. Freeman with a knife which he never had he watched the guard plant the knife in mr. Freeman property they release mr. Freeman  from out the hole case dismissed the guard was pissed and the board gave him a slap on the wrist for planting evidence on a innocent man a couple months later that same guard and a couple guards got brutally beat by a couple of inmates not my loved one Joseph Freeman, mr. Freeman was in the workshop at the time he had Witnesses write statements to verify where he was and the witness statement mysteriously disappeared when they ask the guards which there was four of them three of them couldn't tell who did what to them. they couldn't remember but the one particular guard that did not like mr. Freeman blame the beating on Mr Freeman ..the guard  said that he beat me over and over with a padlock mr. Freeman did not have a fair trial evidence show that that particular guard blame the wrong person mr. Freeman padlock did not have a drop of blood on it mr. Freeman prison jumpsuit did not have a drop of blood on it but the other inmate that did the brutal beating was bloody from head to their shoes and their weapons were covered in blood but no blood on mr. Freeman property or clothes or shoes had no blood on it. this happened in Marquette Michigan prison they never called any of mr. Freeman's Witnesses they never mentioned anything about their statements other than they couldn't find his witness statements my love one was sentenced to 75 years for something he did not do all on the word of a crooked guard that already did not like mr. Freeman and despised him the same guard that planted a knife in mr. Freeman's belongings and got caught and got a slap on the wrist for planting evidence on a innocent man it's been 18 years since this happened to mr. Freeman we've been trying to get the case File on this particular case from the prosecutor the prosecutor refuses to give this file to mr. Freeman which mr. Freeman has the right to have in his possession in order to do in appeal he need the whole file mr. Freeman and our family having a hard time for years trying to get this file the whole file I was hoping that there is something you can do to help us get the entire case File... for years we were denied the file  now  they're saying we can get the file for $800 we cannot afford that and try to pay for an attorney the funds are not there to do both barely have funds for an attorney mr. Freeman and our family need help at this point we're feeling desperate..... I sent a photo of me and mr. Freeman...smile!
