With the start of school in less than a month, it seems that the control of a mask mandate will be in the hands of each individual school district. If that is the case, we are asking you to sign this petition in favor of a parent’s right to choose what is best for their children. We have all abided by the mandates handed down from the state and believe we are at a point where everyone should be able to make their own decision.  

Each child is different. Including differences physically, emotionally, mentally as well as academically. Therefore, parents should be able to discuss, assess risks and weigh pros/cons as a family before concluding what the best route is for their children to succeed to their full potential in an academic setting. We are asking the MCUFSD Administration and their BOE to afford the district’s families the right to that decision.
