Dear parents and student of RMHS, Mrs. Wheeler is a body shaming, rude, disrespectful  administrator that has no consideration for her students' wellbeing and feelings. She makes the student body feel unsafe and unwelcome in their own selves and in the school. Students do not feel respected by her and her actions make students very uncomfortable in school. She has made students cry and they have complained about having low self esteem after interactions with her. The students feel a sense of dread when they see her and feel as though she does not provide adequate support. Parents- you want your children to feel comfortable and safe and Mrs. Wheeler does not do this. We don't know how long students have felt uncomfortable around her but this is not okay and should not be tolerated. Schools are supposed to be a safe, welcoming place for students and Mrs. Wheeler's actions go against everything MCPS and RMHS stand for. We urge parents and students to reach out and help RMHS create an administrative team that students can trust and be comfortable around. Things need to change. This is not how our children should be taught or interacted with. This behavior is unacceptable and creates an environment that students don't want to be in.
