On the 24th McGill will announce what will be allowed in terms of course delivery which would affect the syllabus and schedules, and thus the consideration of the students registered. However, add/drop for the semester is the 18th, well before this announcement. As such, to account for this there should be an extension to the add/drop period for this semester to account for professors to update their syllabi before a prescribed date to reflect the changes announced on the 24th and an additional two days for students to add or drop classes as required
