Dear McGriddles Comrades of Singapore,

Alas the dreaded day has arrived where our beloved McGriddles will be taken away from us again. As I take one last bite of this beautiful sweet and savoury creation, my mind body and soul were aligned in zen for a brief moment only to be rudely awakened by a sick feeling in the stomach. My first gut instinct suspected its cousin, McSpicy, playing punk with my digestive system again but then I recalled being faithful to McGriddles the past month. It was separation anxiety.

It was then that I knew i had to act. What monstrosity it is to forcefully take away something so dear to our hearts, we did not choose this path. It is akin to separating a Mother from her child, can you even fathom the pain for a second, having your sons and daughters conscripted to BMT but only able to see them once a year? Oh.. the rollercoaster of emotions, why bring joy to our hearts only to engulf it in anguish after?

BUT WE CAN STOP THIS TOGETHER! I humbly ask for you to join me in this endeavour in fighting for our rights. Let's Make McGriddles Great Again and more importantly, let's make it a fixed menu item. Together we can take a step to rid this world of unnecessary hurt and bring more joy to the people.

I leave you with this.

"Yes, the sun will rise, the flowers will bloom, and the radio will play happy songs. But without you, we do not want the sun to rise, because another day is too painful. We do not want to see flowers, because how dare the world show us something beautiful when we cannot devour you. We do not want to hear any McDonalds 'I'm Lovin It' music because it reminds us we will never see you dance in our stomachs again."

Let us stand in solidarity during this difficult period.
