Install Pig Pen in Bloomington North High School

Install Pig Pen in Bloomington North High School
Bloomington North has a problem, a pig problem. What is this issue, you may ask? Well, it’s that there is none. If we installed a pig pen within North’s building, this would immediately solve many issues, most importantly, the lack of pigs. Both wild and domesticated hogs alike would have somewhere to stay, as well as a place to eat. Delighted students would be able to participate in extracurricular activities, or perhaps classes as a whole that specialize in the caring of these pigs, which would mean taking on chores such as supplying the hogs with heaping amounts of slop and mud, as well as cleaning their feces. The pig pen would not have to be large, as long as there is troughs for the pigs to eat from, places for them to sleep, and places for them to use the restroom, although, these hogs could just as easily use the public restrooms if necessary. The pigs would be given the opportunity to roam the school when desired, which would greatly benefit the academic environment of the school. With a pig pen at North, pigs and students alike would be much happier. The inclusion of this pig pen does hold some risks, for instance, the pigs may get upset or angry at times, but this can easily be fixed with the metal batons and/or electric prodding devices that will be supplied to all teachers. Overall, I believe if the Monroe County Community School Corporation were to consider the application of a pig pen, it would benefit the school in many ways.
