Almost every other school in the area has closed down for at least a few weeks, but Metropolitan Community College has not followed suit. Considering that we have much more diversity in age than some of the other schools closing down, and we have such a large student body, it would be in everyone’s best interest to transition all in person classes to online ones. COVID-19 is just beginning, and in order to make sure our students and their families stay safe and healthy, in person classes must not continue, at least for the time being.
