Help Mohammed Gapor continue his tenancy at our USJ 9 Recycle Centre.

Help Mohammed Gapor continue his tenancy at our USJ 9 Recycle Centre.
Why this petition matters

Dear Residents
Our USJ 9 Recycling Center operated by Mohd Gapor, has been given notice to vacate the Center by end November 30/11/20 which has since been extended by only one month to December 31/12/20 after he made an appeal to continue his tenancy.
Mohd Gapor has made an appeal to the MPP MBSJ Zone 3 to allow him to continue his operations especially now during this pandemic crisis where people are struggling to make ends meet with business hitting all time low and terminating his rental of the Center will drastically affect not only his and his family’s rice bowl but that of his workers as well.
Mohd Gapor is a member of the USJ 9 RA and a Committee member of the KRT USJ 9 and has actively supported all of the USJ 9 RA/RT activities including being a volunteer patroller, has approached the RA/RT USJ 9 Committee and residents for support.
Not many of us know that since Mohd Gapor started managing the Recycling Center in 2015, the USJ 9 Recycling Center has won awards being the best Recycling Center in Malaysia Y2017, has been audited by a Japanese Auditor who gave a good report on the way the Center is managed and the Center has also been a training center for Kolej students on 3R concepts.
The RA/RT Committee has since written a letter of support to the authorities in MBSJ and hoping that an amicable solution can be reached to allow Mohd to continue his operations.
However, it has been made known via WhatsApp chat groups that the Recycling Centre will be handed over to another organisation on 1st January 2021.
We need everyone to understand his predicament and hope this petition will convince the authorities to exercise compassion towards Mohd Gapor to allow him and his workers to continue to operate until a time when the economic situation stabilises and situation returns to a near normalcy.
He needs your support.
We thank you for helping out by signing this petition.
