Business Research Project - No Presentation assessment

I am writing on behalf of the full 2016/17 MBA cohort to voice out our extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with the last minute change to the BRP module.
As you are already fully aware, we have only just been informed (today) of the new requirement for a presentation on top of the written submission worth 30% of our BRP marks. This comes just 8 days before our submission deadline, with no prior notification since the current cohort started the course almost 12 months ago. It was not included in any version of the module handbook that was provided to us or mentioned to us in the BRP briefing at the end of June. We have also not been notified of this presentation requirement by any of our BRP supervisors at any stage in the process.
At this point in our MBA, we are already fully occupied with completing the report for the BRP and the final assignment for our PPLD, due on the 22nd and 29th September respectively. As you will appreciate this is a particularly stressful time for all students, and especially those for whom English is a second language. At the same time, the majority of us are already preoccupied with preparing for life beyond these dates, including moving back to our countries of origin, attending job interviews, developing CVs, job applications and reconnecting to or establishing new networks.
We can hardly take lightly the preparation involved for this additional presentation. As a cohort, we have always strived to do our best in our assessments, which has involved long hours of work regardless of how small or big the assignment. Thus, doing a presentation whilst having committed to other projects can be very stressful and is likely to impact the quality of our work.
We hope that the assessment of the BRP can remain as indicated in the version of the module handbook that was distributed to us (rather than the updated version that was only supplied to us today!), which is 100% based on the 8000-1000 words report. We hope that we can resolve this issue at the soonest opportunity as our focus on our BRP report is being severely disrupted by this new development. In anticipation of a productive outcome I am also including my cohort members who are looking forward to your reply of this email by Monday.
