Students in the education system at the moment we are merely being taught to pass our GCSE's and A-Levels. How on earth are students supposed to know things such as setting up direct debit or paying house and utility bills? The next generations need to start being taught the useful life skills that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives and then build upon them. The government needs to change how the syllabus in the education system is set out and what it teaches so that students will be more engaged and benefit more from in the long run. The government so often complain about how people committing crimes or people that are homeless are like this because they haven't been educated properly. This is true because students aren't being taught the life skills and being given the experience that they need to be able to live in our ever changing and developing society.
