Stop the Budget cut to Public Safety in city of Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI overall crime rate is 105% higher than compared to the national average. In the past two years, the VIOLENCE has been HORRIFIC due to Gun Violence, Carjacking and Robberies in the city of Milwaukee.
Violence is a PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE in the City of Milwaukee and we must address this issue as a collective. This can not happen if the city is cutting funding towards PUBLIC SAFETY in the 2018 Budget.
The City of Milwaukee could be forced to cut 84 police officer positions in next year's budget. Also Milwaukee may be forced to eliminate 75 firefighter positions, six public health nurses and 10 code inspector jobs — and close two libraries — in the 2018 budget. Milwaukee Police Department is bracing for a budget cut totaling as much as $7.3 million.
If we can find funding for the Street Car Project and for the Bucks Arena, then we can find money for Public Safety.
SAY NO!!! TO BUDGET CUT TO PUBLIC SAFETY!!!!!
