Many of us living in the town of Phillipsburg have seen a urgent need for stop signs. There has been many incidents where children and adults have been hit by vehicles, many accidents, and many cars doing over 40 mph in a 25 mph residential area. The residents of this town living in these areas have had enough. The speed limit in these areas are not being enforced. Adding the stop signs will allow cars to stop from always when making a turn onto a street where it may be difficult to see, as it will also allow cars to not be able to use our roads as a speedway. Mayor Todd Tersigni is in the process of vetoing the stop signs. Please take two minutes out of your day today to sign this petition to allow stop signs on our side of town in Phillipsburg. This will create a safer environment for all individuals living or traveling in this area.
