Reopen the Morristown Ambulance Squad, in Morristown New Jersey
It's about reopening the Morristown Ambulance Squad place in Morristown. The place has shutdown in December of 2019. The Rescue squad had lasted for over 58 years, which happens to be from 1961 to 2019. Unfortunately, I think the reason is not enough volunteers had worked for Morristown Ambulance Squad. According to an article people felt they needed hold back tears as they released this statement Closing felt “very sad,” she acknowledged. “A lot of people put in a lot of hours, a lot of us.” Another farewell to the Ambulance Squad in Morristown from the mayor said “The Morristown Ambulance Squad provided a valuable community service to our town for many decades. The dedication of this group of volunteers will be missed.” In the article it states "Morristown Emergency Medical Services, as the squad also was known, had upwards of 45 volunteers, who were able to answer about 95 percent of 2,600 annual calls." "the town turned to Atlantic Ambulance, a subsidiary of Atlantic Health, the parent organization of Morristown Medical Center, as its primary emergency services provider. The Morristown Fire Bureau also responded to ambulance calls for a time, though it no longer does." In my opinion it's important to reopen the Morristown Ambulance Squad, so people can feel happy about the place reopening. People could go back to their old jobs, that they've loved doing for decades. I think it's important for every city in each state of the United States has an Ambulance Squad. I know Summit is much like Morristown, since they both have hospitals and ambulances for the company that owns Overlook Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center. But Summit also has it's own Rescue Squad team and ambulances called Summit Emergency Medical Services. As well as all the other nearby communities have their Rescue Squad team and ambulances. So let's start this campaign to help reopen the Morristown Ambulance Squad and have people get their jobs back at that place.
