I've been to these dances on a very intermittent basis, but I love them. I do not love the idea if having my name, address and e mail info in a city data bank for privacy purposes, especially for an activity I dont do very often. Your decision will just make me decide not to do it at all. In addition, as a senior citizen I would find it disturbing that your decision could cause a lot of the younger people that come to these dances to decide to perhaps engage in other, less wholesome activities. I love the fact that anytime I've been to Tuesday swing night I have gotten to dance and interact with some wonderful young people. Why ruin an activity where different generations can actually take part in an activity and make some connections.

It’s just another way governments can track citizens across this country. How ridiculous that you have to now register to visit one of our community centers. Give us a break!!

Albuquerque has better things to worry about (crime) than to knit pick on a group of people dancing. Come on now.

Would be a shame to lose this event. I went to the tenth anniversary and it rocked my socks off. Unforgettable.
