Most people who’re homeless aren’t a threat - they’re just trying to survive. Let’s use funds to help them, not hurt them!

This petition matters because homelessness is not the victim’s fault. No one asks to be strayed out of their home to be put in jail. While the police officers are using their equipment on peaceful citizens, there are more crimes that need more attention.

Homelessness is not just a personal problem, it's a systemic issue. If you can't pull yourself up by your bootstraps, the last thing you need is a government Gucci boot stepping on you.

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory, Revelation 18:1

Boulders are not a viable option for our houseless neighbors and the police need to find better ways to interact with them. Harassment, throwing out their only means of survival, and targeting them for arrest are simply unacceptable.

To respect people without shelter, allow self-governing camps organized by unhoused people.

I am signing because a classically NIMBY-driven, penalty-based response doesn't work.
