We need more affordable options in SE Portland! These people are unfortunate victims of gentrification -- progress is great, but we must not grow at the detriment of our vulnerable populations. That isn't the Portland I love.

A rent strike is one of the best tools tenants have to bring scofflaw landlords to heel.-- Lew / Tenant Rights Project / PSU / POB40011@juno.com / 503-222-2974.

Greed is the intent of rate hikes...Portland already higher than 97% of country.....eviction without cause law...also factor that other states would not so cruelly adopted, takes away individual rights and free speech. There is a blackmail factor.Even if you are a model renter ,you can be evicted is owners look at you as a complainer.
