Support Modular Housing at 150 Harrison Street

The City of Toronto has proposed 44 affordable rental housing units at 150 Harrison Street as part of its Modular Housing initiative. It is designed to support folks who are currently experiencing homelessness. In addition to the building, a small public park is proposed on the edge of the site.

There are a number of reasons why we should support the project - here are a few: 

  • Increased housing options help promote a more inclusive City and neighbourhood
  • Modular housing is a quick, affordable construction option 
  • These units will allow folks to move out of the City's overburdened shelter system
