The constituents of New Tecumseth are not being heard by many members of council regarding their opposition to the proposed $17.5M Administration Centre located at the Alliston Union Public School facility and property located at 25 Albert Street West, Alliston, New Tecumseth.  As a result, this project is moving forward instead of heeding the wishes of the residents.

We feel that moving forward on this plan is a misuse of town money and fiscally irresponsible.  New Tecumseth is made up of three former villages; Alliston, Beeton and Tottenham.  We wish for Administration facilities to be spread out evenly throughout the town and thereby be equally available to all.  We would like to look at more creative solutions finding more administrative space and a duality of function for our upcoming building projects within the town.

We believe it is our responsibility to ensure the future debt of our children and grandchildren is taken into account when making major decisions such as this.
