Many states require large companies to use a certain percentage of renewable energy for their facilitation, however, Texas does not have a minimum requirement. Thus, I hope to raise and set in place a minimum requirement of renewable source usage in order to limit the amount of nonrenewable energy used. As of right now clean energy is in high demand but also has raked up a high price; but, making nonrenewable energy more affordable will allow more access to clean energy.
