Due to budget cuts the fire service all over the the United Kingdom are taking longer to get to 999 calls as there are fewer firefighters, emergency vehicles, and stations. As a aspiring fire fighter I want to make sure every civilian is safe in the case of a worse situation I'd rather that person have a firefighter there and helping than having to wait an extra 5 minutes for them to arrive, a whole room can be engulfed in flames in less that three minutes. Please help me get the fire service more money so they can get to emergency's quicker and start helping to save life's faster. None of the emergency services get given enough respect and I feel the fire service don't get any. Help me respect them help me to help them, fire fighters run into danger when others run away, they go into burning building to save lives, they break cars to help people walk away from car crashes, they help rescue you when your in ponds and lakes, FIREFIGHTERS DESERVE RESPECT, fireghters need us and we will allways need them let's get them money so they can get the resources required to save lives. We need to stand together, firefighters protect the public the public need to insure we protect them, let's help them save more lives.
