Unknowingly passengers of ride sharing services like  Uber, Lyft, etc many times are being driven by drivers with poor driving skills, many of them do not demonstrate basic knowledge of the rules of the road. Having a clean license and insurance does not make one a safe or competent driver. March 27 2020 I was the passenger in a uber, the driver ran into Two vehicles that were in a accident, my uber driver told the CHP she saw the accident but thought she could fit between the two cars. At 65-70 mph she hit the two cars, I suffered a subdural hematoma, (Bleeding of the brain)  a life threatening brain injury that required a hole to be drilled into my head to drain the bleed, I also under went Arthroscopic knee surgery and suffer memory loss and chronic headaches's daily, my life has forever changed because of the negligence and poor driving skills of the uber driver.  Many accidents and  lives can be saved by requiring these drivers to pass a basic safety driving test. In San Francisco dog walkers are required to take a special class in order to get a permit. ride share drivers should be required to take and pass a safety test  Before they can drive for a ride share service.
