How many people have heard this quote lately? “We are not California, we are not New York and we are not New Orleans.” Quote from Governor Kay Ivey. That is a correct statement but it’s inevitable that we will become them if we don’t make a change. This starts by shutting down the cities and counties that are continuing to allow this to spread. We have all seen and heard of the multiple behind the scenes gatherings in our communities that is going on. YES we ALL know. Back doors to businesses being opened on the sly just to make money. This needs to stop. We need a complete lockdown shelter in place order for 14 days to prevent havoc from tearing our state apart. 

Yes, money is important. OBVIOUSLY. But we must stand as a united front against this virus. We all have our part to play and We all need to help so our medical personnel does not get over run, worn down and can adequately help during this time of crisis. What will you do when it is your family member (Grandparents, Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Child) that is laying there gasping for air and can not get a ventilator, or the medications needed for Intubation &  then meds needed for staying on the ventilator or even the proper care needed in all aspects because of shortages in our Hospitals, Clinics and other sites and all the staff is overworked and exhausted? We all have family that we are trying to protect. We all have bills that need to be paid, but the longer we keep our state open, the longer this enemy will continue to wipe us out. Which means the longer we loose money in return be we are ultimately prolonging a lock down that we all know is eventually coming. 

It’s not too late but it WILL be soon and we will end up like the other hot spots in our country. Let’s spread the message and all do what’s best to protect EVERYONE in the community. Pray for our fellow Americans through these trying times. Hats off to our AMAZING frontline workers as hopefully they won’t have to endure such heartache that other places are currently going through. 

LOCK IT DOWN!!!
