Getting rid of invasive plants and having cleaner beach and ocean environment

The entire Monterrey Bay community is facing the issue of invasive species taking over areas where native plants thrive. Also, there is a problem with beach pollution in the area. The plan to fix this problems is to remove invasive species like ice plant and make sure they do not overpopulate the Monterrey Bay area. This will allow for the native species be able to thrive. It is important for native plants to thrive because some animals are very dependent on these plants. It is also important to make sure that there is minimal to no beach pollution. This can be solved with more beach clean ups and deep sea clean ups that affect all of the animals in the Monterrey Bay.
