Tye Anders is a 21 yr old black male who was pulled over for “running a stop sign” on May 16th in Midland TX. There is no police footage of him running the stop sign, yet the Midland police continue to make this claim. After arriving to his grandmother’s home, the officers who were stalking him drew their guns on him. Tye laid in the grass for minutes with his hands up or behind his back, waiting for police to detain him. When they finally did, he was charged with evading arrest.

This charge is a felony charge and will affect Tye for the rest of his life. Tye is a victim of racial profiling and the police involved in his unjust arrest should be fired. Tye’s charges must be dropped so he may have a chance at a future he deserves. Please sign this petition so the mayor of Midland TX and his police force may be held accountable!
