The children of Phillipsburg will suffer without accessible sports and recreational activities. Coach DJ has been a quintessential member of this community. He is hardworking, sincere and cares about our kids. His work ethic and dedication was seen in all of our children's who's lives he touched. He cared about the children and not the politics. I helped coach my sons baseball team and can say first hand what a stand up dedicated man he is. Offering Steele Hill as a solution is shameful as not everyone can afford their prices. We have made it very clear who we want to run our recreation department. This is about THE CHILDREN and NOT POLITICS. If you truly care about your town listen to the PEOPLE!
