Y'all, let's face it. We will never all agree who to put on that pedestal where Gen. Lee once stood. So why do we have to decide on one? Let's make it "Legend's Circle". Renovate the circle and make it it into a beautiful "in memoriam" to all the legends that have gone before us, so our future children and children's children can see who truly made this city great. Life-sized statues commissioned by New Orleans artists, plaques commemorating and teaching those about who influenced our city the most. Yes, I know there is a Legends Park which celebrates our greatest musicians- but this would encompass those and more. A place where people can come to learn about our greats or find some peace. Put a water feature to knock out some of the traffic noise. I'm sure some people have great ideas on how to make this space beautiful once again. If you agree, please sign.

RIP to two great legends that our city lost this week- Leah Chase and Dr. John, two of many that I propose to enter Legend's Circle, New Orleans' own "Hall of Fame".
