The council and tfl have colluded to ignore the many, many local objections to the NRT at St Johns Way, and the inevitable very negative impact on the the currently very quiet Shakespeare Roads. Why is no one standing up for the residents of these roads and of the ones surrounding Varley and Macdonald road. Shameful.

This project will mean that drivers will use back streets to circumnavigate the fact that they cannot turn right onto Archeay road towards Highgate

As a parent with two children who are going to be directly affected by these proposals, I am deeply concerned by the increase in 'rat-run' traffic and associated pollution the current plans will cause.

We have used the Archway Children's Centre for more than six years and do not want it ruined by pollution for future attendees.

We are materially affected by the proposals, were not sent any of the ''consultation ' documents TfL claim to have circulated and will be on one of the rat runs Islington Council admits will be a result of the ban on the right turn from St John's Way . TfL have consistently refused to adapt their plans to reflect the concerns of many local residents and the viable alternatives put forward by several local groups.

As a local resident, I'm signing as I am, like others, extremely concerned about the increased traffic and pollution and thus fully support this petition.

This whole scheme seems "change for the sake of a change". Any re-design (roads/buildings/traffic/bus stops) should be done for improvement, there seems very little improvement with these new plans. So why are the views of the people who live and work in the area being ignored.

Please do not allow traffic to use the Whitehall Park area and surrounding streets as a rat run. Do not let the increased air pollution and traffic on our streets to become a danger to the health and safety of our children.
