As many of you know, the intersection at the maverick on Hyde Park Lane is prone to accidents, almost once a month. While some may be minor, a lot happen to be major traffic accidents, the “prepare to stop” light was a good step but I still see too many accidents happen on that intersection. The stress of a traffic accident is a lot to take on, but what happens when it isn’t a certain parties fault? What happens when only one or two witnesses are asked about the accident? What happens when only one party gets to make a statement to the police? Logan city police will go off of just the couple witness statements and nothing else and charge one party. The maverick doesn’t have cameras that point at that intersection and not everyone can afford a fancy dashcam for the “just in case” it’s time those lights got traffic cameras to capture EVERY accident so then a rightful charge can be placed upon the actual person who caused the accident. Please sign my petition and let’s get this taken care of so nobody has to deal with the burden of an accident then also fighting with insurance companies to decide who’s at fault!!
