Upgrade needed in Tallowood Park in Bossley Park

Upgrade needed in Tallowood Park in Bossley Park
Why this petition matters
During the lockdown so many of us have come to rely on Tallowood Park as a place to relax and enjoy exercise with the dog or to let the kids run.
With more and more people spending time there, I have noticed that our Tallowood Park last upgrade was in 2003. Almost 20 years ago.
As you know, our Mayor Frank Carbone secured $20 million in 2019 to improve parks, reserves and sporting fields to help families to get outside, get active and get healthy. However, there has been no news about whether new equipment will be installed or facilities will be upgraded in Tallowood Park.
Parks are such an essential component of livable, sustainable, communities that it is difficult to imagine a community without parks or trails.
Help me send a message to the local Fairfield council and Frank Cardone, Mayor of Fairfield about how important it is that Tallowood Park must be upgraded. We all want a safe, structured place for our children to meet and enjoy the sunshine and this is a chance to offer that to those living near Tallowood Park in Bossley Park.
