For the past month at least each weekend we have had continuous power outages.  The illegal connections that are seen in and around our suburb is ridiculous.  When we complain about it then it falls on deaf ears.  When we go to the Council, we get told that we are unable to speak to anyone high up regarding the outages. 

We are unable to get hold of or speak to the Mayor directly regarding this issue.  All of our needs are not met regarding this.  

If you try and claim from the Council, it either doesn't get attended to or you get told that it's not their fault the food went off or the appliances blew.

All we, as citizens are asking for is for assistance and for someone to stand up for us and to fight the illegal thuggery that is among us.  This is our basic human right and we not even receiving it.

Going to the newspapers is a waste of time and so is going to Carte Blanche.  By the tine they do the interview everything is sorted by then. 

We need someone to act upon it now, waiting for it to happen again is going to be old news.
