Grass & palm tree medians on Front Beach Road will block access to businesses. It will impact residents, business owners, employees, tourists, truck deliveries and most importantly emergency responder vehicles. This proposal by the Community Redevelopment Agency does not include turn lanes for U-turns. When vehicles are stopped at the median breaks to make the U-turn, traffic behind will be stopped, because there is not enough room in the median break to get out of ongoing traffic lane. Drivers will be impatient and use the tram/bicycle lane to pass. 

Full size vehicles, delivery trucks and emergency vehicles will have to make a 3 point turn, causing more delays in oncoming traffic and delays of emergency vehicles getting where they need to go. This beautification project is not worth the worsening traffic congestion it will cause.
