Hello Neighbors,

There is a plan to build a 3,400-body cemetery in our neighborhood along the streets of Palmyra, Tracy, and Jennifer. The proposed facility will be open 7 days a week, and approximately 20-25 funerals will be held monthly. The project will be taking place over the next 20 years and will be bringing in unwanted construction, increased traffic, increased noise, and decreased parking for residents. 

A Design Review Committee meeting was held on August 18th, and no residents were informed of the plans. We only know of the proposal because two members of our community happened to attend this meeting and spoke out against it. The link below details the plans for the cemetery and the building project that will occur over the next two decades.

There are a few ways to help prevent this from happening: sign our petition and/or head to a city council meeting. Every voice counts!
