I have been vising Port Aransas since I was a child, and lived in Aransas Pass for a couple of years recently. I saw how bad the air quality In corpus is, due largely to the refineries and other industry there. The last thing the area needs is more refineries, or, (God forbid!) Fracking. For years the city of Corpus has been trying to court beach-goers & tourists and still cater to industry. One destroys the other!!! You cannot have it both ways. Don't spoil our waters and air with more oil related businesses!

We have been property owners in Port A for over 60 years. We have witnessed our quaint little fishing village become over-crowded, over-populated, and over developed. It is time to take a giant step back and re-examine our priorities.

We have vacationed in Port A for years. The water quality has steadily decreased.

Why would anybody in their right mind (Charlie Zahn) to do something like this to our beautiful little town just to put a few bucks in the city coffers. If this is what you really want, move to Texas City.

I have had oral cancer and am concerned about trace carcinogens that I may breathe. I am also concerned about decline in business as clients either move off the island or stop visiting Port Aransas.
