Dear Friends & devoted Patrons,
It has come to our attention that MAMA Pearl's Restaurant of 411 5th Ave. Gary, Indiana is being pushed out of our community.
The family of Joni & Hope Mason has served our business community diligently for the last 3 1/2 years, creating not only a professional & courteous environment, but a warm and hospitable family atmosphere which has brought patrons from as far away as Russia, Argentina, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, England, and all around the Indiana/Calumet region.
A reputation for having great food in a clean and down-home atmosphere has even reached the ears of Tom Joyner, the nationally famous radio and television talk-show host , whom is spreading the news that MAMA Pearl's is one of Gary's finest most talked about eating spots to visit.
WE cannot afford to lose another good business here; definitely not community centered, Black owned, family friendly, a mom & pop staple essential, needed not only to help a city grow, but to encourage the people in it and around it, to patronize and socialize our way BACK TO THE TOP
Call our mayor's office at (219) 881-1302 or sign our online petition and make a move to become the agent of change you keep leaving in the hands of others to do for you.
Act as if you livelihood depends on it.
Believe it or not, it does.
