With the arrival of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, change is coming to Keelesdale. Our community welcomes this new opportunity, but we insist that the change be reflective of our wishes and values.

For years, Keelesdale residents have suffered from an absence of consultation and there is a growing desire to have our voices heard at this pivotal moment. 

We the undersigned call on municipal leaders to:

• Perform a Planning Framework Study in Keelesdale to gather feedback from local residents on their vision for the future. 
• Perform local consultation to identify neighbourhoods requiring immediate protections for cyclists and pedestrians from reckless driving.
• Support local business with immediate COVID-19 financial aid and planning policies that encourage their growth, rather than their displacement.
• Increase funding to support vulnerable neighbours living in poverty and struggling with food and housing insecurity.
