Stop Public Censorship In Charleston

It is the duty of all people to protect and preserve their constitutional rights. Too often freedom is lost through a slow and gradual process of liberty being chipped away piece by piece.
Mayor John Tecklenburg has taken a step in the direction of limiting First Amendment Rights to freedom of speech and expression by restricting what individuals may display on their vehicles in Public Parking spaces.
According to Mayor Tecklenburg, citizens can now be ticketed, arrested, and banned from public parking garages for displaying stickers, banners, signs, or flags from their privately owned vehicle when using a public parking garage.
This is an attack on freedom, the use of government authority to silence opposition, and an attempt to intimidate the people and visitors of Charleston. We ask for your help in pushing back against this violation of the constitutional rights of the People of Charleston.
