The town of South River NJ (Middlesex County) has been locked in a battle with the South River Rescue Squad, resulting in the entire community being left at risk with an outsourced EMS organization that is providing less than adequate coverage with documented 911 response times of up to 45 minutes. We the residents are demanding better! We  the residents of South River NJ are asking our Mayor to bring back the South River Volunteer Rescue Squad under condition all interfering issues are negotiated and resolved for the community . Our community deserves better than 1 corporate ambulance to serve an entire town in a heavily trafficked area. If you or a loved one are experiencing a life threatening, time critical emergency 45 minutes could mean the difference of life or death. The residents of South River are at risk of not receiving life saving care. It’s time to set aside  politics and work to restart an operational Rescue Squad located in the current fully equipped building in South River. Please sign this and send a message before tragedy strikes. Thank you
